Two new children's stores will be moving into Stuyvesant Plaza this summer, indicating both the continuing appeal of an open-air center and the improved prospects for an economic revival.
Ginger Snips, a children's clothing shop relocating from Delmar, will open in late June followed by Rugged Bear, a Massachusetts-based chain selling outerwear and equipment for juniors, in August according to Edward McEwan, the plaza's executive vice president.
