Jan. 3--I get tired of the weight-loss commercials and their promise of quick weight loss this time of year. It's a good thing to want to lose weight for better health, but we need to ask ourselves several questions: Are we ready? Are we motivated to make long-term lifestyle changes? Do we really believe in losing weight slowly and safely for better health? Are we ready to change our eating and exercise habits?
