To local residents and members of the business community, "Let's talk," says Chris Daly, a member of the award-winning Shaker High School speech and debate team.
Specifically, he wants to talk money.
Daly and five other team members are seeking to raise $3,000 to pay for their trips to three national competitions: one already held, the second set for Memorial Day weekend in Arlington, Va., and the final one in late June in Fargo, N.D.
Daly has had his sights set on the money since he and team partner Matt Gregory won a statwide competition in "duo interpretation" in the New York Forensic League ...
