The credit union general manager who stole more than $600,000 from shareholders was back in court Tuesday, this time to admit carrying an unlicensed gun.

William W. Crosby, who just last week was sentenced for embezzling the money from First General Employees Credit Union, pleaded guilty in County Court Tuesday to fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

The plea satisfied an original third-degree criminal weapon possession charge and loitering, a violation of a city ordinance. The charge was unrelated to the credit union scam.
