Debt-ridden Heritage Artists, the non-profit theater company that presents musicals at the historic Cohoes Music Hall, suspended operations indefinitely Wednesday, dealing another blow to the city and the Capital District arts scene.
David Holdgrive, artistic director of the company, which serves 40,000 to 50,000 ticket buyers annually, said all nine full-time employees have been laid off and there are no plans to present the last two shows of the 1991-92 season.
