While AGCO Corp. may be more synonymous with tractors sold under the AGCO, Massey Ferguson and Challenger brands, it has recently branched into the stationary power market with a new line of AGCO power units. The new power units are available in seven power nodes, utilizing AGCO's SisuDiesel engine range and are used primarily in irrigation applications.
Currently available through the AGCO dealer network, AGCO said the power units are being sold primarily in Nebraska, Kansas, Arkansas, Wisconsin and Canada to irrigate wheat, com, soybean and rice crops.
