D'Addario's new Kaplan gold-plated E string for violin is available in loop or ball end. The new string is made to exceptionally rigid manufacturing tolerances. The company starts with a high carbon steel string and applies superior quality gold plating. The string is available in standard 4/4 scale (328mm playing length) and has a tension of 18.6 pounds.
