NEW YORK (AP) -- It is not the cuddliest of sleeping companions, but that did not stop Jonathan and Sebastian Mendez. The 9-year-old twins knew exactly where they wanted to lay their sleeping bags for the night _ underneath the huge replica of a blue whale.

The boys, parents in tow, were bunking down at the American Museum of Natural History as part of a new program that gives kids a new way of looking at the museum -- by night.

"I never got to sleep under a whale," Jonathan said as he and his family prepared their resting area in the museum's giant Milstein Hall of Ocean Life.
