A task force could be formed shortly to look at what, if any, restrictions should be placed on deer hunting in southern Saratoga County.
The idea of the committee, to include hunters, landowners, farmers and other interested people, came out of a meeting Wednesday when it became clear there are conflicting views on what the sportsmen's clubs would support.
Initially, the Saratoga County Council of Fish and Game Clubs said an almost unanimous vote of member clubs endorsed the plan to have a shotgun-only zone south of Route 67. But at Wednesday's meeting, some leaders of those clubs said their members did not ...
