Everything from Psyanky to holubtsi to traditional Easter bread will be featured at the 24th annual pre-Easter bazaar of the Ukrainian National Women's League of America Branch 99.
The event will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 4 at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall on the corner of 4th Avenue and 24th Street.
The bazaar started back in the 70s when the Soviet Union occupied the Ukraine, said Natalka Verzole, president of the women's league. The Ukrainians in this country wanted to show representations of their culture, and over the years, the pre- Easter bazaar has attracted many ...
