Time is running out for CFC users to find environmentally friendly solvents, and cleaning equipment.
"Many people have been scurrying around to find suitable replacements for ozone depletion compounds. If you've already chosen a replacement cleaner, you're one of the lucky ones. If not, then you need to hurry," says Tim Crawford, research engineer at the Electronics Manufacturing Productivity Facility (Indianapolis, Ind.), a U.S. Navy National Center of Excellence specializing in electronics manufacturing.
