The beleaguered postal service is facing more bad news today with the publication of a wide-ranging consumer survey which gives an unimpressive assessment of its customer service. Among the grim findings for Mail bosses are that just 16% feel 'very satisfied' with the Royal Mail, with most citing junk mail as their main concern.

Satisfaction levels with other comparable services such as banking and IT providers are much higher.
