Deal lets limo drivers in airport terminal
A lawsuit filed by 40 members of the New Baltimore-based Great Lakes Limousine Association against the Wayne County Airport Authority was dismissed after the parties reached a settlement that allows authorized drivers to meet customers inside the terminal.
The suit was filed June 2 and dismissed Nov. 29 in U.S. District Court in Detroit.
The suit was filed after the authority announced new rules in May that would have not allowed car services to greet passengers in the luggage claim area inside the McNamara and Smith terminals.
