ALBANY A Republican congressional candidate has lodged an angry complaint to Mayor Jerry Jennings, claiming that Public Works Commissioner Michael Conners is unfairly removing his campaign signs.
And the city corporation counsel's office has intervened in Conners' controversial crusade, directing him to send a list of offenders to city lawyers.
Conners originally planned to send a $25 bill for each offense, but city lawyers say they'll decide whether to prosecute.
