The first domino fell in mid-November in Oregon.
Voters there agreed to let doctors hasten death for the terminally ill. Patients with six months to live can ask a doctor to prescribe a lethal dose of drugs to end unbearable suffering.
The third try was a charm for supporters of death with dignity, who have tried similar measures in Washington and California.
And while Oregon considers how to implement its new law, lawyers are arguing that NOT allowing the terminally ill to take their own lives violates their constitutional rights.
