As Albany puts the final touches on a landfill application and talks of selling Coeymans on the plan, sentiment in Coeymans against the dump appears to be growing more hostile, not less.
Calling it a ``hick revolution'' against the big city, Coeymans students form the latest group to oppose Albany's plan to build a dump within a mile of the middle and high schools. A resolution pending before the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School student council calls the city's plan ``morally indecent,'' and chastises the city for forcing the landfill on an unwilling community.
