Already in my neighborhood miscreants are setting off fireworks, drowning out even the ever-barking hound down the street and the temperamental burglar alarm with a mind of its own.
As with anything else, I suppose there must be some rehearsal; the Founding Fathers would be pleased to know that such an effort goes into celebrating Independence Day.
Or maybe the little lambs just can't wait to blow their fingers off and get on the 11 o'clock news.
