I was shocked, disappointed, dismayed, furious, etc. etc. reading Paul Grondahl's piece on Newt Gingrich! Grondahl is mistakenly identified as ``Staff writer.'' In the future you should identify him as any or all of the following: staff hatchet man, hired character assassin, Times Union's domestic newt, slime slinger, to suggest just a few.
I understand that some do not like the new Speaker. I also understand that sarcasm is a legitimate journalistic tool. But I have never seen or even read about such baseless vitriolic attack in a ...
