Jan. 4--Dear Skip (Bliss): We thought we should check out that new $30,000 break room at City Hall to see what all the hullabaloo is. Frankly, we were impressed. We think you ought to add one like it to the Gazette's 2007 capital improvements list. After all, we have more employees than City Hall does, and it's likely this building will still have more workers than City Hall after our new press plant opens later this year. The furnishings at City Hall look more comfy than those in our basement lunchroom. We have room for a couple of those nice new refrigerators to replace that aging one that gobbles electricity. And we could surely find space for a couple ...
