ALBANY A dozen demonstrators outside a Central Avenue Pizza Hut restaurant Tuesday afternoon wanted to spread the message that American Pizza Hut workers deserve a slice of the pie when it comes to employer-financed health care coverage.
Members of Citizen Action of New York, along with Hotel, Motel & Restaurant Employees and Bartenders Union Local 471 picketed outside the Pizza Hut restaurant at 954-960 Central Ave. to demand that the chain provide its American workers the same health care coverage as its overseas employees.
