In the middle of the Passover celebration and Easter week, two Albany lawyers will travel to Washington to argue before the Supreme Court a case that may well be the most important religious freedom matter the high panel has heard in a quarter-century.
The case that will be argued Wednesday morning, Kiryas Joel Village School District vs. Louis Grumet and Albert M. Hawk, is a classic battle over church-state separation, a case that gives the Supreme Court a chance to redraw a constitutional boundary line.
