ALBANY Democrats in the state Senate on Monday unanimously elected Martin Connor to serve as the next minority leader.
He will take the place of Sen. Manfred Ohrenstein, a 34-year veteran of the Legislature who has been minority leader since 1975. Ohrenstein is retiring when his term ends at the end of this year.
