ALBANY County Democratic Chairman Robert Signoracci has named 2nd Ward Alderman Keith St. John to the party's Candidate Review Committee to fill a vacancy created when 2nd Ward Leader Arthur Scott died.
Signoracci said he wanted an elected official from the ward to take Scott's place and St. John was the logical choice. St. John, who is gay, also gives the gay and lesbian community a representative on the committee. He is also the only African-American on the panel.
The members include all town and city chairmen, along with St. John, 4th Ward Leader Joseph McElroy, 5th Ward Leader Bruce Shultis, 6th Ward Leader Nicholas Sacca, 8th Ward Leader Sal ...
