Albany singer-songwriter Jim Gaudet keeps a pretty low profile and isn't one to toot his own horn much, but he's one of the most marvelous musical talents of the Capital Region.
Gaudet has three fine full-length cassettes to his credit, but he's about to release his first compact disc, "It's a Colorful Life," and he'll be celebrating with a CD release party and performance at Caffe Lena (47 Phila St., Saratoga Springs) at 8 p.m. Saturday.
The 15-song disc is being released on the New York City-based indie label, 1-800-PRIME-CD, and it gives the listener a well-balanced sampling of Gaudet's musical ...
