The controversy surrounding minister Louis Farrakhan and the activities of the Nation of Islam is clear proof that the modern Nation cannot exist in its old form and function in contemporary times. Minister Farrakhan wants to keep the old teachings and be part of the modern social arena.
He wants to work with the political Congressional Black Caucus and with such black Christian ministers as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.
