In Victorian times, mail was delivered as often as six times a day, and people carried out lively and elaborate correspondence involving all the people of importance in their lives.
Today, electronic mail, or E-mail, appears to be reviving correspondence and contributing to a revival of the art of letter-writing -- with some new twists for modern times.
