James "Specky" McMahon, 75, of 125 Wilkins Ave. died Saturday in Albany Memorial Hospital.
Mr. McMahon was born in Albany. He retired from the New York Central Railroad, for which he was a trainman for 41 years.
Mr. McMahon was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II. He was one of the founders of North Albany Post 1610 American Legion, and remained a member.
He was a member of Albany Lodge of Elks 49, the Polish American Citizens Club, a past grand marshal of the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Albany and a charter member of the North Albany Limericks.
