After a two-year absence, the Northeast Flight air show will go on, with the Air Force Thunderbirds to boost the proceeds.

Steve Israel of the air show committee said the show will be held Sept. 10 and 11, with demonstrations by the precision jet team both days.

The admission fee for adults will increase to $10, but Israel said the increase reflects competitive pricing, not the $42,000 the event lost in 1991.

He said the organization's chief sponsor and charity, the Empire State Aerosciences Museum, dipped into its building fund to make up the loss.
