The customers are primarily African-Americans -- buying traditional African dresses, hats, head wraps and robes and cummerbunds, bow ties, scarves, coats and suits made from African fabrics.
Many vendors who sell the clothes or the fabrics say the weeks leading up to and during celebration times -- this month's Black History Month and Kwanzaa back in December -- are the busiest of the year.
