The housing slump is bad news for Republic Windows & Doors LLC on Goose Island, where Chief Operating Officer Barry Dubin is hoping to staunch a slide in revenues, which were down 20% in 2006.
Meanwhile, Steinberg Advisors, an accounting firm in Northbrook, is projecting a 20% rise in revenues on top of last year's 16% gain. Managing Partner Irwin Steinberg is counting on an "a-lot-of-pizzas-at-night'' year.
