Remote Control. Hunter Fan Company is recalling remote control units (model number 22788) sold as accessories for ceiling fans from November 16, 1993 through March 30, 1994 for $45. The units consist of a receiver installed on the upper canopy of various Hunter ceiling fans and a three button fan/light remote control. The serial numbers on the affected units appear on the receiver and run from 029936 to 051679. The antenna on the remote unit may shock anyone who touches its exposed end. Consumers should contact Hunter at (800) 745-9318 to receive a new remote control.
