Contemporary Christian music has answered the Gospel Music Association's prayers to get the word out and the bucks rolling in.
CCM, as it's known in the music biz, is the fastest-growing segment of the industry. As a subset of gospel, CCM has helped the whole of the gospel-music business.
What is CCM? Essentially, it isn't a style of music so much as a style of message. As long as the message is ``Jesus is Lord,'' any style goes.
