Located approximately 20 miles from downtown Albany, the hamlet of Climax in the town of Coxsackie offers scenic views of its flats and rolling hillsides in Greene County.
Climax is spread out along routes 81, 26 and part of 51. The beginning of the community starts at routes 26 and 81, an intersection marked by the hamlet's only restaurant, called the Quarry Steakhouse.
