NEW YORK A Manhattan judge, unmoved by tears and words of remorse, sentenced three people Thursday to lengthy prison terms for the kidnapping and nearly two-week entombment of tuxedo manufacturer Harvey Weinstein.
Aurelina Leonor, 46, the only defendant to go to trial, sobbed loudly as state Supreme Court Justice Herbert Altman sentenced her to 25 years to life.
``I would have been more moved by the tears if they had been shed at the pit where you saw Mr. Weinstein,'' Altman said, noting that she did nothing to help the victim.
``Your remorse is for yourself for getting caught.''
