PALM DESERT, Calif. Patsy Ruth Miller, the silent film actress who played the Gypsy dancing girl opposite Lon Chaney in the 1923 film ``The Hunchback of Notre Dame,'' has died of heart failure. She was 91.
Miller died Sunday at her home, said Mark Dumont, a funeral director at Palm Springs Mortuary.
During her career Miller had roles in more than 70 films, appearing opposite such leading men as Rudolph Valentino and Douglas Fairbanks Jr. as well as Chaney.
