DES MOINES, Iowa, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The Meredith Corporation (NYSE: MDP) board of directors today declared a quarterly dividend of 18 cents per share, payable September 15, 1994, to stockholders of record August 31, 1994.
The board also appointed Herbert M. Baum, 57, to fill the seat formerly held by Daniel Yankelovich, who retired from the Meredith board in May. Baum is president, chairman and chief executive officer of Quaker State Corporation, headquartered in Oil City, Penn.
