CHICAGO Fifteen minutes into the sermon at the Apostolic Church of God in Chicago, 5-year-old Alia Brothers gets bored. Then she falls asleep.
``She loves the choir, and she knows a lot of Bible principles, but when she hears the pastor speak, it goes over her head,'' Alia's mother, Marlayn Brothers, said as they worshiped together one recent Sunday morning.
Rather than force Alia to sit uncomfortably among a row of adults, impatient with her constant fidgeting, Brothers takes her daughter to another wing of the building, where a special service is being held just for children.
