ALBANY If your telephone service has been switched to a new carrier without your permission, you have the right to be switched back for free, state officials said.
Customers also have the right to have the disputed charges recalculated as if the calls were made using the original long-distance provider, Public Service Commission spokesman Ed Collins said.
