KINGSTON Alittle more than two years ago, just as Jimmy Kotsiaopoulos was finishing up a $340,000 renovation project at his Texas Diner, IBM announced 6,000 layoffs at its Kingston plant. It was a blow that he still feels today.
``It really didn't work out to make the place bigger,'' said Kotsiaopoulos, who got 30 percent of his business from IBM before the layoffs hit. ``It has hurt everyone, not just me.''
