You could get fat just reading about Fernando Botero. The adjectives are that, well, voluptuous. Take ``rotund'' and ``bulbous'' and ``chubby'' and ``over-fed,'' not to mention ``massive,'' ``monumental,'' ``immense'' and ``exaggerated.'' No wonder we wonder whether that's all there is to him, this most famous Colombian artist. Is everything about Botero overblown?
It's a timely question. The current show at the University of Miami's Lowe Art Museum, ``Latin American Art from Miami Collections,'' includes two Botero paintings. And the Museum of Art in Fort Lauderdale recently opened an exhibition of 93 drawings ...
