COLONIE Robert E. Morris, 69, of Eberle Road, Latham, died Tuesday at home of lung cancer.
He was born in Glens Falls and raised in Albany. He lived in Watervliet for 12 years and in Latham for the past 29 years.
Mr. Morris was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theater.
He was the president and owner of the Albany Florist Supply Co. for more than 20 years, retiring in 1975. He was also employed by Margolis Brothers for several years. Most recently, he worked for Capital District Off-Track Betting in Latham part time for 20 years.
