Fans and critics often scream for artists to step out of their molds and do something different. Apparently, Vince Gill was listening.
Nashville's vaunted country gentleman knows that ``dreamy ballads'' are a major reason he was named entertainer of the year and best male vocalist by the Country Music Association.
