Averill Park High has been approached and is considering a move to the Suburban Council.

``They've made a gesture to us about applying and we're reviewing it,'' Averill Park athletic director Lou Cioffi said. ``The school has a coaches' meeting in early January and there will be more discussions among the principal, school superintendent and the board of education.''

Ever-growing Averill Park appears heading in the direction of a move up, and the Suburban Council would be just the spot for the Warriors, who have done well in all sports over the years.
