Roasters hopes to roost atop the rotisserie pecking order.
Like a rooster surveying the barnyard of rotisserie chicken chains, CEO John Brown Jr. enthusiastically crows about the prospects for Kenny Rogers Roasters.
"I expect us to be the CocaCola of the industry," he says. "They [Boston Chicken] can be Pepsi. We have 30 year' experience of seeing everything out there. We're food people. Maybe the video people can teach us a thing or two. But I think there is room for both of us."
