Ten years ago, a retailer didn't need a computer to be competitive. But as bar codes have become standard in most industries, including the shooting sports, retailers who aren't taking advantage of this technology are losing ground everyday.
Rick Bushnell works with Quad II, an information, education and research firm located in Chalfont, Pa. Quad II provides support to companies that are trying to adopt new technologies. According to him, bar code technology isn't at all mysterious.
