Jan. 7--HAZLETON -- Less than two weeks ago, three men decided to help foster children while continuing a popular tradition in Latin American countries since the 1400s.
Their mission paid off on Saturday when 50 children, mostly Hispanic foster children, received a toy donated by 20 businesses and individuals to celebrate the Feast of the Three Kings.
"We wanted to do something to help the community and this is what we came up with," said Robert Arias, co-host of the area's only Latino radio show -- La Onda Latina (The Latin Wave). "We wanted to bring as much happiness to the children as we can."
