AVERILL PARK -- George H. Tashjian Sr., 85, of Sheer Road, died suddenly Wednesday in Providence, RI while visiting his sister. Born in Troy, he was son of the late Musroob John and Sataneg Patanian Tashjian and husband of the late Lillian Raible Tashjian. He had resided in Troy most of his life and in Averill Park since 1973. He was a graduate of Troy High School. Mr. Tashjian was employed as a meat salesman for Dubuque Packing Company and previously at Levonian Brothers, Patrick Cudahy Company and had worked for Ludlow Valve in Troy as a machinist.
