SAN FRANCISCO -- When a U.N. helicopter attack killed dozens of Somalis in 1993, an enraged mob turned on the first outsiders to arrive at the scene: photojournalists.
Three photographers were stoned to death -- one of them a 22-year-old named Dan Eldon, who was covering his first war.
Last year, Eldon's sister headed to the spot where the young photographer died, embarking on a journey that took her around the world as she tried to learn what compelled him to risk his life to capture images of war.
