BIG RAPIDS, Mich. -- Before Friday night's game, Ferris State coach Bob Daniels said he'd heard that RPI's forwards were collectively among the best in the nation.
In this case, there was a big gap between reputation and performance. The supposedly explosive Engineers were limited to only 14 shots on net as Ferris State prevailed 3-2 Friday in a non-league game before 1,215 fans at the Ewigleben Ice Arena.
