Baseball caps have long been derided by fashionistas for 'crimes against fashion'. The only police they're usually associated with is the 'fashion police'. But officers in Wales are set to change that by becoming the first in Britain to don the headgear on the beat. North Wales Police's controversial chief constable, Richard Brunstrom, is issuing his 1,600 officers with the American-style caps, matching black T-shirts and combat trousers.
